Puyallup Real Estate

Puyallup, often dubbed as the Land of Generous People, is situated between State Route 167 and High Way 512 with easy access from the interstate. It’s just 20 miles north of Olympia, 15 miles east of Tacoma and 35 miles south of Seattle. It is closely bounded by neighboring towns of Edgewood to the north, Alderton to the east, Graham to the south and Summit to the west. The fascinating Puyallup River stretches out between the hills, and through cold basins formed from the glaciers of Mt. Rainer, the renowned giant volcano sitting 87 kilometers southeast of Seattle. Its heavily glaciated crest is a glorious sight from every side of town.

Puyallup is a beautiful old school city that offers great options for suburban living. It is the home to the largest annual fair in Washington that supports most of the local businesses and restaurants. Puyallup hosts the annual Daffodil Parade and has myriad antique shops located on the main street of Meridian. The Puyallup School District is homeland for over 30 schools, and is one of the largest in the U.S. state of Washington. It extends to neighboring counties of South Hill, Tacoma and Edgewood. The majority of high-end jobs are available in neighboring cities such as Tacoma, so Puyallup’s proximity to them makes it a great place to stay for all the average working folks.
